New RJ THYME album "A Heroine's Journey..." August 9, 2016

“The Heroine's Journey in 12 Songs” the new album by Berlin-based electronic musician/ visual artist RJ Thyme is now available for streaming. The album will be released in all digital formats, CD, and Photo Book editions on 9 August 2016 via Perfect Entropy Productions’ GLITCH music label.
RJ Thyme has been working in the audio-visual field for the past year and half, after combining his film background with ongoing passion for music. With this project the listeners are encouraged to follow the story of a young protagonist as She travels through the process of the Hero's journey as described by Joseph Campbell in book 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces.' The album is an experiment in producing a synesthetic movie experience through auditory input. The titles of the tracks and the accompanying images serve as small prompts should the listener desire a little direction. Everything else is left to the imagination.
“The Heroine's Journey” is RJ Thyme’s second release via Perfect Entropy, after having released the seven-track EP 'Sexual Transmutation' in June of 2015.  A rumoured Fall/Winter European Tour with GLITCH artists Klaas von Karlos, Munsha, and others will be announced in late August.

Munsha Speaks About Her Upcoming EP - "Who Will Play After?"

11 March 2016 marks the release of the new EP “Who Will Play After” by Italian-born, Berlin-based electronic artist Munsha on Perfect Entropy's GLITCH Music imprint.. The four track outing features the eclectic cellist/vocalist/producer (birth name: Daniela Lunelli) crafting a selection of songs that range from brooding trip hop balladry to industrial dark wave with the cohesive touch of a classically trained musician.

Before the release of the album, Munsha sat down with GLITCH label founder and ReVerse Bullets frontman Klaas von Karlos to discuss the process of crafting her album, her experience living in Berlin, and more. Klaas von Karlos: What is origin of the title, “Who Will Play After?”  What does it mean to you? Munsha: "Who Will Play After?" comes from a sense of parting and from a questions that kept happening in my mind, such as 'who will take my place?' who will replace my role?' It's a game between time and space and the role that we'd like to play with them, so I put new masks on and I turned my machines on…The loss of indisputable affections, small things forgotten or pushed aside, learning new places - as it was after I moved to Berlin, the blue feeling for what I left behind, at times a bit of fear too... All these the parts I tried to translate into a sound, almost without even realizing it. Indeed, what may be identified as the concept of this production (if we really need it) has emerged at completed work. It was like lingering on an old photo and then suddenly lost memories crop up.

KVK: What was your writing process for the album?  How long did it take you to complete the writing and recording?
M: During the EP production I only followed a kind of flow...performing on a mechanical and (at times) a jagged rhythm as if I was a cog in a machine. I think it came as an evolution of totally new experiences and sensations that do not deny themselves.

KVK: How did living/working in Berlin influence the sound and design of the project? M: The Berlin experience helped to strengthen my multiple senses of belonging. I was (and still am) a cog in many wheels and I live in a city full of experience and stories - as impressive as private - in which every little tile is at the same time crucial and expendable. I took inspiration from this feeling to conceive the EP cover art, letting my imagination run wild. Whereas on one hand a man wears his clothes in order to play a role in larger devices of society, on the other hand there's the same man with his personal identity and probably something behind to remember. Herr Fritz [the man whose image inspired the album artwork] is still part of this city: wryly in his underwear, ruthlessly sold with awful home furnishings and worn-out clothes.

KVK: How was creating this EP for yourself different from the composing/writing for theater pieces, installations, or your work with the The Max Maffia &The Empty Daybox? M: I always have fun jumping into different musical backgrounds. I don't like to belong to a defined style or genre. Rather, I prefer to go along with an idea and expand the theme. Even though my productions may sound quite different one from the other, it is always me! That's why I can find a common thread between Munsha's songs and the "cinematic" and ambient project of Max Maffia & the Empty Daybox, or between the vocal experimentation and the Sound Design for Visual Arts. I find it amusing. It's a bit like looking through a broken mirror: multiple reflection angles of the same eyes.

Munsha's new EP "Who Will Play After? is available March 11, 2016 from GLITCH/Perfect Entropy Productions from Amazon, iTunes, and all Digital Music Outlets. Canon, USA and Sound Devices Join "All Tomorrow's Children"

Monday, November 12, 2012- Perfect Entropy Productions announces CANON, U.S.A. and SOUND DEVICES, LLC as the first official sponsors of the upcoming feature film, “All Tomorrow’s Children.” In this partnership, Canon will spotlight the film’s use of its C300 Digital Cinema and Cinema EOS lenses to create a visual palette of Midwestern winter noir. Sound Devices, LLC is providing the film's production with the Pix 240i HD Recorder.

“All Tomorrow’s Children” is a coming of age, surrealist-thriller about three high school misfits yearning to escape Saint Louis, MO, a Midwestern city of absentee parents, failed institutions and peer bullying. Equally ostracized and alone, the three friends find solace in their friendship, music, recreational drugs and night-time cruising. Nonetheless, when the trio is accused of an act of vandalism and signs of the collapsing reality manifest more rapidly as time moves toward the supposed December 31, 1999 “End of the World,” they don cartoon masks and formal wear to fight chaos with the only weapon they have – more chaos. “All Tomorrow’s Children” is a mixture of vitriolic realism and expressionistic surrealism - “Zero de Conduite”meets “Donnie Darko” and “Brazil” meets Larry Clark’s “Kids.” It is a film about the rapidity of change amongst the confusion of learning how to live and evolve from a teenager to adult and adult to human.

“All Tomorrow’s Children” is the debut feature film from filmmaker/audiovisual artist Jon-Carlos Evans and his company Perfect Entropy Productions. Evans is a graduate of the Webster University Film Production program and the City College of New York Media Arts MFA. As a filmmaker, his previous films such as “Antithesis,” “(Goodbye), Brooklyn,” and “Julya” been awarded and screened in the Mexico International Film Festival, Honolulu International Film Festival, Visionfest NYC, and two consecutive Asian-American International Film Festivals. Evans is also the founder of audiovisual band ReVerse Bullets, who have performed exclusive audiovisual sets at the MashRome Film Festival, Live Performers Meetings Rome, NYC Re/Mixed Media Festival and Dimanche Rouge Experimental Theater-Paris.

Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions. With approximately $45.6 billion in global revenue, its parent company, Canon Inc. (NYSE:CAJ), ranks third overall in U.S. patents registered in 2011 and is one of Fortune Magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies in 2012. Canon U.S.A. is dedicated to its Kyosei philosophy of social and environmental responsibility. Sound Devices’ portable audio mixers, digital recorders, and related products are used worldwide for mission-critical productions including feature film, episodic television, documentary, new-gathering, and acoustical test & measurement. The Company designs and manufactures its products in Reedsburg, WI. The PIX HD Recorders boast the most unique feature set of any production video recorders on the market today. PIX HD Video Recorders are the only recorders on the market that posses many of these features ranking them among the most powerful production tools on the market today.

“Our whole team is honored and excited to have this partnership with Canon," said the film’s director Jon-Carlos Evans. “Some of my earliest [digital] projects were shot on Canon’s XL2, 5D, and 7D. This partnership and opportunity to film with the C300 feels like a natural evolution. We have some unique and beautiful images planned for this film that can best be described as “surrealist winter noir.”

Perfect Entropy Productions is“All Tomorrow’s Children” begins begin principal photography on December 1,2012 for three weeks in the director’s hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri.
